I am Sister Carol Anne Clark, and I am from Immaculata Monastery in Norfolk, Nebraska. It was like I would probably feel if I was a cow being branded. That’s how severe the pain was. It punches me so that I jerk every time it happens. It kept me from enjoying my prayer life. I was not able to sit and just be able to pray with any kind of contemplation because this was just always a jerking feeling.
I saw two [doctors]. They had no answer. No—just Tylenol. Well, that doesn’t touch it. No.
He [Dr. Aguila] goes to the Catholic church, and he came to our church for Mass every day. We found out about him that way. Then he’d come for a prayer group. Oh, that was wonderful. He was quite the guy. We found out that his specialty was in nerve pain, and got to go there.
So I came in, had him look at it, and we set up the appointment to have it taken care of—and I loved it. I am not waiting four years.
This time I’m going to have it taken care of. Anyone who is watching this would need to know that he is very personable. He wants you to be comfortable in your conversation, and he explains everything that he is going to do or wants to do. So it’s been a very good experience both times.
